  • How can I pay my Storecard account?

    You can pay your David Jones Storecard account in a number of ways:

    • Paying in person by cash, EFTPOS or cheque at any David Jones store in Australia
    • BPAY®, online or over the phone
    • For Cards beginning with 3777: You will need to enter Biller Code:  88013, and your 15 digit Account Number

      For all other Cards: You will need to enter Biller Code: 3020 and your David Jones Storecard or Account Number

  • How can I manage my Storecard account online?

    If your Card begins with 3777: Please click here

    For all other Card numbers: For privacy and security reasons, a PIN is required to view your David Jones Card Account details online. To apply for a PIN, please call the Customer Service Centre on 1300 36 89 89 (Mon-Fri 9am-7pm; Sat-Sun 9am-6pm AEST)

  • If my Storecard is lost, stolen or damaged, how can I organise a replacement Storecard?

    It's important to contact Customer Services on 1300 36 89 89 immediately to organise a replacement Storecard.

  • As a David Jones Storecard customer, how does the David Jones American Express Alliance affect me?

    The David Jones American Express Alliance is the coming together of two great brands and service cultures and we are committed and confident in delivering the same high standard of service you have come to expect from David Jones.

    Our partnership with American Express has some implications that you should be aware of. These are set out below.

    Firstly, on 1 August 2008, David Jones assigned all its credit contracts (including your David Jones Credit Account Agreement) to American Express. This means that any amounts you owe under your credit contract (whether arising before or after 1 August 2008) are now owed to American Express Australia Limited ABN 92 108 952 085. Please note that your obligation to pay your account and the ways in which you may do so, remain unchanged.

    Secondly, some changes have also been made to the David Jones Credit Account Agreement and to the Key Terms. These changes took effect on 1 October 2008.

    Finally, David Jones and American Express have issued a joint privacy notice, which sets out how we may each collect, use and disclose your personal information.

  • In what order are my payments allocated?

    Your David Jones Storecard payment is allocated from the highest interest rate to lowest interest rate. There has been no change to Storecard as a result of the National Consumer Credit Protection Act.

  • How do the changes to the National Consumer Credit Protection Act affect me?

    There has been no change to the order Storecard payments are applied as a result of the changes to  the National Consumer Credit Protection Act. Your repayments to your Storecard will continue to be applied from the highest to the lowest interest bearing balance on your account.

  • What should I enter for a Credit Limit?

    This is an optional field. If you leave this blank, we will assign your Credit Limit based on an assessment of your application information. If you complete this field, you will need to enter an amount that is equal to or higher than the product minimum indicated on the application form next to this field. On the application, this field is found in the financial details section and has been included as the National Consumer Credit Protection Act regulation requires that a credit issuer must give the opportunity for an applicant to request a Credit Limit at the point of application.

  • I want a Credit Limit lower than the product minimum

    You can only request a Credit Limit that is equal to or above the product minimum as this is the lowest Credit Limit we will allow you to have for the product as per American Express policy.
